Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using the Wonderful Attic Care website and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Wonderful Attic Care.

Services

Wonderful Attic Care provides attic insulation, rodent removal, attic cleaning, and related home improvement services in the greater Los Angeles area, including Glendale, Pasadena, Burbank, La Crescenta, and surrounding communities in Los Angeles County. All services are performed by trained professionals in accordance with California building codes and industry standards.

Licensing and Insurance

Wonderful Attic Care is a California-licensed contractor. We maintain comprehensive general liability insurance and workers' compensation coverage for all employees. Proof of insurance and licensing is available upon request.

Estimates and Pricing

All estimates provided are based on the information available at the time of inspection. Final pricing may vary if additional work is discovered or requested during the project. We will communicate any changes and obtain your written approval before proceeding with additional work that affects the quoted price.

• Written estimates are valid for 30 days from the date of issue
• Prices include labor, materials, and standard disposal fees unless otherwise noted
• Additional charges may apply for hazardous material removal, permits, or unforeseen structural issues

Scheduling and Cancellations

We strive to accommodate your schedule and arrive within the scheduled appointment window. If you need to reschedule or cancel an appointment:

• Please provide at least 24 hours notice for rescheduling
• Same-day cancellations may be subject to a service fee of up to $75
• No-shows without prior notice may result in forfeiture of any deposit

Payment Terms

Payment is due upon completion of services unless other arrangements have been made in writing. We accept cash, checks, and major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover).

• A deposit of up to 50% may be required for projects over $2,000
• Financing options may be available for qualified customers
• All California sales tax will be added where applicable

Warranty Information

We stand behind our work with comprehensive warranty coverage. Warranty terms are provided in writing with your project estimate and completion documentation.

Insulation Installation Warranty

• Workmanship Warranty: 5-year warranty on installation quality and labor
• Material Warranty: Manufacturer warranties apply (typically 10-25 years depending on product)
• R-Value Guarantee: Installed insulation will meet or exceed the R-value specified in your estimate

Rodent Proofing Warranty

• Exclusion Warranty: 1-year warranty on sealed entry points
• Re-treatment: Free re-inspection and repair if rodents re-enter through sealed areas within warranty period

Attic Cleaning Warranty

• Service Satisfaction: 30-day satisfaction guarantee on cleaning services
• Sanitation: All cleaning includes antimicrobial treatment

Warranty Exclusions

Warranty coverage does not apply to:

• Damage caused by natural disasters, flooding, or acts of God
• Damage caused by third parties or subsequent contractors
• Pre-existing conditions not addressed in the original scope of work
• Normal wear and degradation over time
• Failure to maintain proper attic ventilation
• Modifications made to the work without our approval

How to Make a Warranty Claim

To submit a warranty claim, contact us with your original invoice number and a description of the issue. We will schedule an inspection within 5 business days and, if covered under warranty, complete repairs at no additional cost.

California Consumer Rights

As a California consumer, you have specific rights under state law:

• Three-Day Right to Cancel: For contracts signed in your home, you have 3 business days to cancel without penalty (California Civil Code Section 1689.5)
• Contractor License Verification: You may verify contractor licensing at www.cslb.ca.gov
• Lien Law Notice: Anyone who helps improve your property and is not paid may record a mechanics lien and may foreclose on your property (Civil Code Section 8830)

Permits and Inspections

We will obtain all necessary permits for work requiring building department approval. Permit fees are included in your estimate unless otherwise specified. You will receive copies of all permits and inspection records upon project completion.

Safety and Access

To ensure safe and efficient service:

• Clear access to the attic entry point is required
• Pets should be secured during service
• We may need to temporarily relocate stored items near the work area
• HVAC systems may need to be turned off during certain services

Limitation of Liability

Wonderful Attic Care's liability is limited to the cost of services provided under the applicable contract. We are not responsible for:

• Pre-existing conditions not disclosed or discovered during initial inspection
• Damage caused by third parties after service completion
• Issues beyond our control, including weather-related delays or supply chain disruptions
• Consequential, incidental, or indirect damages

Dispute Resolution

We are committed to resolving any concerns promptly and fairly. If you have a dispute regarding our services:

1. Contact us directly to discuss the issue
2. We will investigate and respond within 10 business days
3. If unresolved, disputes may be submitted to the Contractors State License Board
4. For disputes over $10,000, binding arbitration in Los Angeles County may apply

Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, images, logos, and design, is the property of Wonderful Attic Care and protected by copyright law. Content may not be reproduced, distributed, or used without written permission.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Wonderful Attic Care, its owners, employees, and contractors from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of our services, your violation of these terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.

Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any legal action arising from these terms shall be brought in the courts of Los Angeles County, California.

Severability

If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. Material changes will be communicated via email to existing customers.
